The JCPA leadership mission is unique. Its focus is to ensure that JCPA leaders are well-equipped to help the community relations network have hands on experience to be effective and nuanced advocates for Israel. High-level meetings with governmental and civil-society leaders provide attendees personal knowledge about Israel’s efforts for peace, to advance pluralism, and to ensure the security of its citizens.
Dates of the Mission:
The mission will begin on Sunday December 3 at dinner time and end on Friday December 8 mid-afternoon.
Who Should Attend?
The Leadership Mission is an excellent experience for JCPA board members, JCRC professionals, chairs and board members. Many JCRC leaders are responsible for Israel advocacy and countering de-legitimization at the grassroots level and are often leading missions for government officials and the non-Jewish community. This trip provides an opportunity for fact finding and grappling with what we see and learn with other cohorts. The Mission is also a good opportunity to mentor the JCPA Frank Fellow 2017-18 cohort made up of 13 emerging leaders will be participating in the trip.
