JCPA is working diligently for the passage of a clean Dream Act by the end of the year. The Administration’s decision to end Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) places 800,000 Dreamers at risk of deportation. The Dream Act of 2017 would enable undocumented immigrant youth brought to the United States as children to obtain permanent residence status and, eventually, a pathway to citizenship for those who work, attend college, or serve in our armed forces.
