Eva Lippmann has taught 5th-7th grades in three different California public school districts. She is deeply honored to have been selected as a Frank Fellow and very much looks forward to learning more about the various issue areas. Eva’s father survived the Shoah in Budapest Hungary as a child. In 1956 he became a refugee when he was taken in by Sweden, where he eventually met Eva’s mother. Eva strongly identifies with these words from the JCPA Mission statement, “to promote a just American society and world.’ Eva lives in San Jose, CA with her husband Bruce and daughter Sonja, soon to become a Bat-Mitvah, and their dog Tikvah, Tiki for short. Eva’s parents both live close by, where all can frequently be found at the APJCC.
