JCPA Frank Fellowship Application

What are the qualifications?

The selection committee will take into account the following areas in consideration of who will be accepted in the program. Not all areas are required.

  • Involvement/Leadership in local JCRC
  • Involvement/Leadership in other Jewish community organizations, local and/or national
  • Involvement/Leadership in general community organizations
  • Involvement/Leadership in profession (if applicable)
  • Donor to Federation
  • Donor to JCRC (if applicable)

 

How do you apply?

Please submit the following:

  • Applicant’s name, community, and age (please note: Age, gender, and geographic area will be considered to create a diverse group)
  • A personal statement (~500 words) from the applicant discussing interest in JCRC, the JCPA and commitment to becoming more involved in this aspect of the Jewish community.
  • A recommendation (~500 words) from the JCRC or Federation executive, discussing the applicant’s potential for future leadership in the JCRC and in the JCPA.
  • Please describe any:
    • Involvement/Leadership in local JCRC
    • Involvement/Leadership in other Jewish community organizations, local and/or national
    • Involvement/Leadership in general community organizations
    • Involvement/Leadership in profession (if applicable)
    • Donor to Federation
    • Donor to JCRC (if applicable)

 

What is the timeline?

Applications should emailed to Haya Luftig at hluftig@thejcpa.org by June 30. Please contact Haya with any questions you or the potential nominee may have.

Previous participants in the Frank Family Institute are available to speak to potential participants if you would find that helpful. Please contact Haya Luftig for more information.

Applicants will be notified of their selection by the end of July. Please note that a submitted application is considered a commitment to participate in the program if accepted.
