The Green Climate Fund (GCF) is a top priority for Jewish environmental advocacy. The fund helps developing and vulnerable countries address the challenges and negative impacts of climate change like flooding, sea level rise, drought, and decreased crop production. More than 30 countries have pledged $10.2 billion to get the fund up and running. Last year, we saw a major win for the Green Climate Fund, with $500 million initial funding established for 2016.
