Todd Resnick was born and raised in Cleveland, and has been back in the area for 10 years after a brief stint in NY city. He am married to a wonderful woman and mom, Niki, and have two incredible kids; a son Madden is 8 and a daughter Bryn is 5.
Professionally, Todd is a financial advisor and President of a one-year old independent investment firm, One Seven. The firm is based on the principals of Seven Pillars of Wellness, and their goal is to incorporate more aspects of people’s lives (health, community, family, work) to their overall financial wellbeing through programs, education and engagement.
Todd has been involved with Jewish Federation of Cleveland since moving home a decade ago. He began as a member of the young Leaders division and has since moved on to leadership roles on the CRC where he is co-chair of the Latino Engagement committee and also is a member of the Retirement Plan Committee for the entire Federation community. Outside of Federation he is involved with the ADL, Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland, and the MetroHealth Foundation.
When thinking about his engagement with JFC, Todd knew he needed to be engaged and challenged. He saw the CRC as a route to learn about the far-reaching efforts of the JFC toward the Cleveland Jewish community as well as other groups in the area. As the voice of Federation, Todd believes we have a serious responsibility to think about the critical issues facing us locally, nationally and abroad and properly debate their merits as well as impact. Additionally, with an ever-changing landscape politically and socially, it is an incredible opportunity to be at the front of our communities efforts to lead the conversation and engage in areas we deem critical to our future.
