2016 Mission to Israel

December 4-10 2016

The JCPA leadership mission aims to ensure that JCPA leaders are well-equipped to help the community
relations field be effective and nuanced advocates for Israel.

On the mission you will meet with:
High level diplomatic officials, foreign service, and Knesset members
Leaders of religious groups
Leaders of different faith communities
Leaders of minority groups

These meetings will provide attendees with firsthand knowledge about Israel’s effort to pursue peace, advance
pluralism, and protect its security.










The mission will explore a number of key questions including:
What is the status of efforts to advance peace and the two-state solution?
What is the current situation on the ground relating to settlements and are they an impediment for peace?
How are Israeli Jews and Palestinians making progress on building a shared society?
What is the status of Ethiopian and other immigrant communities in Israel?
What is the status of Jewish pluralism in Israel?
How is Israel fighting growing delegitimization efforts and anti-Semitism around the world?

The estimated cost is $2,900 plus $721 for single supplement, and includes room and board, most meals, and land transportation. Airfare is not included.

The mission officially begins the morning of December 5th. Participants should arrive on the evening of December 4.
It will officially end on the evening of December 10th with optional programming for the morning of December 11.
